We enjoyed being a part of some breaking news today in the Senate primary runoff between Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst and former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz. Congressman Dr. Michael Burgess joined us in the studio the entire 8am hour for some healthcare talk, but at the end of the segment, he made an endorsement in the race:
“I’ve come to the conclusion that, no matter what happens, we’re going to have a good conservative Senator next year to take Kay Bailey’s place, but honestly, we need a fighter … we need a fighter bad. I’ll be voting for Ted Cruz at the end of this month.”
